G+ face recognition

My view is that software will be one of the most significant areas of development in the future. For sometime progress with hardware was a barrier, but now this part of computing is racing ahead of software development (although it could be argued that improved software is playing a major part in these developments). So it is interesting to see an article focussing on improved software options, in this face recognition. As this form of software becomes more pervasive it will become mainstream and possible face (and/or people) recognition will be on a par with word recognition programs. Then we will be able to move into face/ people recognition in real time video, incorporating image recognition, movement recognition and voice recognition.
