This article discusses the state of eye gaze computer control with examples from a recent electronics show. For disabled people this must be one of the biggest advances of recent times, and the potential for allowing access to computer technology is vast. The only technology I can think of that lines up with these advances is brain sensor implant technology. I suspect that there will be exponential growth in these areas over the next few years, and it won’t be long before computer access for disabled people will be a non-issue.
